• Have a thorough knowledge of the United Way of the Wabash Valley.
• Become knowledgeable about United Way's goals, mission and values and serve as a spokesperson for the United Way.  Create a personal communications strategy based on personal values and experiences, which focus on key messages and are tailored to each audience.
• Plan and implement the best way to reach your accounts
• Work with the Labor Chair and committee on accounts that have a union.
• Contact and meet with all assigned accounts and help them tailor a campaign that will fit their company the best.
• Identify potential problems and formulate possible solutions.  Keep United Way staff apprised of problems as soon as they occur.
• Be aware of potential new accounts in the community in your respective division and report them to the United Way staff and Division Chair.
• Handle the collection of all of your accounts' report envelopes within the campaign’s timeline.
• Attend all Campaign Special Events.
• Review and upgrade assigned corporate account histories.
• Make a personal contribution to the United Way of the Wabash Valley.
• Evaluate and make recommendations for next year.

Accountability

• Account Managers are responsible to the Chair of their respective divisions.
