MISSION: To promote and coordinate
substance prevention efforts for youth statewide by providing mini-grants
to youth-serving agencies, maintaining a clearinghouse and information
center, planning and facilitating awareness campaigns, youth activities
and parent training events.
REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS: Parents to chaperon youth dances,
swim parties, etc. Volunteers to assist with October Red Ribbon
Campaign, April Alcohol Awareness month and May Safe Kids Week.
To be part of Youth as Resources, a youth-adult grant making
council. Secretarial assistance.
WISH LIST: Display holder booklets, brochures, bumper stickers.
Provide emergency shelter for displaced or homeless children
and teens.
