MISSION:  To assist underprivileged children.  Kid Kare’s goal is to enrich the identified student’s confidence and self-worth through tangible items deemed necessary.

REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS:  Volunteers to serve as school contact persons (involves computer and phone work), empty school mail boxes (once a week), write/edit newsletter, referral coordinator for home visits, coordinate/plan Christmas program, marketing and communications coordinator, volunteer coordinator, scrapbook coordinator, delivery team members (deliver once every 6-7 weeks), Kid Closet workers to stock/inventory/fill orders, grant writer, web master to update and maintain website.  Volunteers who will regularly commit to a weekly or monthly day to share with our children - stability, dependability, a love for children and an eagerness to make a difference in the life of a child are paramount for our volunteers.  Volunteers are important as families pay nothing for our services for the youth.

WISH LIST:  New clothing items, school supplies, new toys, personal hygiene products, laptop computer with projector to do PowerPoint presentations, plastic storage containers for clothing items, copy paper, stamps, business envelopes and Lexmark printer cartridges.
