MISSION: To assist
the community in the facilitation of positive youth development
by networking community organizations, promoting strong family units,
and supporting school efforts.
REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS: Clark County volunteers to serve as
“Lunch Buddy” mentors for students in grade K-6. “Lunch
Buddy” volunteers meet their student during lunchtime at their
school twice a month. Volunteers to serve as “Career
Mentors” for students in grades 7-12. Career-mentor
students leave school during their study hall period and go to their
mentor’s place of employment. All meetings with the
students take place during school hours. Training is provided
for all volunteers.
WISH LIST: Table display; table cover embroidered with agency
logo, small permanent props for display e.g., agency logo, mentoring
programs, etc.
